Adventure in Port Stephens

(Dolphin capital of Australia & Blue Water Wonderland)

• Visit the amazing Oz Shark & Ray Centre, "Interactive aquarium" where we get to hand-feed sharks, rays and fish.
• swim or snorkel with them if you dare! ($15 upgrade). We give you a wetsuit and snorkel equipment. Completely safe!
• Dolphin Watch cruise in Tropical surroundings with 99% dolphin sightings.
• swim in the "boom net" attached to the side of the boat (a chance to get real close). Also a licensed bar on-board.
• 4 wheel drive adventure into Stoctkton Sand dunes and we get to sand surf and sandboard down the massive hills.
• The largest coastal sand dunes in the southern hemisphere ("Sahara by the Sea").
• free time to swim, shop or relax.

Hunter Valley Indulgence

More than just a wine tour. We spend the day sampling the delights this region has to offer. Red & white wines, ports, dessert wines (sweet Bortrytis), sparkling wines. Try the legendary Dragon's Breath (HOT! chilli schnapps), if you dare or the gorgeously delicious Tango Cream (Love in a Bottle...coconut, butterscotch, cream).

If that's not enough then how about chocolates & fudges. Try dipping strawberries or marshmallows under the running "hot choc fondue fountain"..mmmmm!!

We also get to sample a variety of cheeses, dips, spreads and chutneys. Our tastebuds will think they have arrived in heaven.

Included

Accommodation- We use a variety of venue's from Backpacker Hostels, "bush setting" resort style places, Holiday Parks. Contact us and we will tell you where we are staying on the dates you intend to travel. We generally stay in Newcastle or Port Stephens. The price is based on a dorm room with bunk beds. You will be sharing with other people. Own rooms and hotel style accommodation is available, subject to a surcharge and availability, contact us for more info.

Activities- everything as listed above.

Transport- return transport in mini-bus or midi-coach from Sydney.

The Food – All you can eat!

1 x dinner (usually pizza or bbq)

Lunches are not included - We believe in giving you the freedom of choice when it comes to lunch. We stop at great cafe's.

ALL dietary requirements catered for (vegetarian, vegan, allergies etc) and we take delight in doing so!

FAQ’s
Will we really see dolphins? Yes, the dolphins live in Port Stephens permanently all year round. They often come right up to our boat. Once we find them, we let you into the “boom net” for a swim. However, they are wild animals and there is a very small chance we may not see them. (1 cruise in 100).
Is the shark & ray feeding safe? Yes, all the shark species have been chosen for their gentle nature and the rays have been de-barbed. Feeding is done standing outside the tank.
Can I swim with the sharks? Yes, for an additional cost of $15, we give you a wetsuit & snorkel equipment or Waterproof waders and allow you into the tank! WOW- What a story to tell back home!!
Why don’t you include lunch? We give you the freedom of choice. We have found that when it comes to lunch, people generally like to have options. Port Stephens has a beautiful waterfront and people like to have fish & chips or a seafood basket or tropical burgers. The Hunter Valley has a very indulgent vibe and especially after a few wines people enjoy chicken & chips, creamy pasta’s & gourmet sandwiches. We use & recommend a number of cafés or you can bring your own lunch. We have ice box/coolers on the bus.
