Newcastle area- door to door (please advise pick up address)

Port Stephens- Nelson Bay Ferry Terminal (we catch the 8.30am ferry boarding at 8.15am)

Depart :8.15 am- 8.30 am Newcastle area

           :8.45 am- 9.00 am Stockton, Salt Ash (Paul's Corner)

      OR :8.30 am Nelson Bay Ferry terminal (board the ferry)

            : 9.30am -Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest

Return 5.30-6.00pm

An “undiscovered paradise”, the Myall Lakes National Park has the largest natural, fresh/salt (brackish)water lake system on the New South Wales coast as well as a 40 kilometre stretch of pristine beaches.

Itinerary - Do as much or as little as you like

Morning

•  4Wheel Drive on a remote beach
• surfing - 9 foot soft surfboard & bodyboards. Instructional/safety briefing
• chance to surf and swim near DOLPHINS. Every day, many pods of dolphins visit this magic place
• sand dune experience- amazing views. Walk (or board...at your own leisure) to 40 metre sand hills
• see huge sea eagles and dingoes wandering this deserted beach reminiscent of Fraser Island
• snorkel around a shallow headland (if ocean conditions allow)
• kick a ball around or relax

Lunch time - bring you own, but we supply plenty of

• fresh seasonal fruit, nuts, snacks, cold drinks
• time to relax or take a walk to an aboriginal site in the sand dunes
  

Afternoon

• kayaking on tranquil lake which is surrounded by 400 year old tea-tree’s and rainforest. (sit-on-top kayaks, tandems and singles)
• rainforest walk (time permitting)
• 1000's of native birds, good chance of seeing kangaroo's, goanna's (huge Lace Monitor Lizards) and dingo's. Small chance of seeing koala's.
